The short version: Daily Suspect does not collect, store, or share your personal information. There are no accounts, no logins, and no tracking. Your game progress stays on your device.
This Privacy Policy explains how Daily Suspect (the "App"), published by Summitview Land Holdings, LLC ("we", "us", "our"), handles information. By using the App, you agree to this policy.
1. Information we do not collect
The App does not ask you to create an account and does not collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, contacts, location, or photos. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs, and we do not build a profile of you.
2. Information stored on your device
Your gameplay data — such as which daily case you have played, your results, your selected theme, and your app settings — is stored locally on your device only. We do not receive a copy of it. Deleting the App removes this data.
3. Purchases
Daily Suspect offers optional in-app purchases: a subscription to the Detective's Archive (monthly or yearly), a one-time lifetime unlock of the Archive, and cosmetic themes. All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not see or store your payment details (such as your card number). Apple's handling of your payment information is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
To restore purchases on a new device, the App asks Apple to confirm what you have already bought. This uses your Apple Account and is handled entirely by Apple's StoreKit; no personal data is sent to us.
4. Case content
The App may download the daily case and archive cases as static files. These requests deliver game content to you and are not used to identify or track you. Standard, non-identifying server logs (such as those any web host keeps) may be generated by our content host; we do not use them to identify individual users.
5. Children's privacy
Daily Suspect is a puzzle game suitable for a general audience and does not knowingly collect any information from children. Because we collect no personal information from anyone, the App does not target or profile children.
6. Data security
Because we do not collect or store your personal information on our servers, there is no personal database to breach. Purchase security is managed by Apple.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
